On the doormat was a leaflet, the only thing the Postman brought that January morning in 2008. It was a Rosemary Conley leaflet advertising weight loss and exercise classes with Christine in Bexley. Knowing I needed a kick start, I phoned a very friendly Christine who said 'come along'. Christine was very reassuring and encouraging, even when coordination didn't come easily! There were sessions when Christine would do dance with us, still can't remember my mambo from my merengue, but it was good fun trying. Christine would tell us we were on 'Strictly' and there were cameras in the corners of the hall and we were to 'play' to them. Christine gave me inspiration to get up and get moving, such a wonderful lady who gave so much. Thank you Christine. You are going to be missed by so many, rest in peace our dear friend xxx
